During the third quarter of 2024, several social networking apps on iOS in Russia exhibited notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, courtesy of Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of the top five apps in this category.

Telegram Messenger by Telegram FZ-LLC showed robust weekly revenue, starting at approximately $501K and peaking at $657K in late July. Downloads were highest mid-July, reaching about 118K, but saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, settling around 73K. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users consistently hovering around 30M.

VK: social network, messenger from V Kontakte OOO experienced fluctuations in revenue, which peaked at $311K in late July. Downloads varied, with a peak of 77K mid-July, and active users steadily increased, ending the quarter with approximately 10.8M users.

Twinby: Dating & Compatibility from NEURALAB TECH SOLUTIONS had a stable revenue trend, starting at $45K and reaching $50K in mid-September. Downloads were highest in late September at 18K. The app saw a rise in weekly active users, culminating in approximately 241K by the end of September.

Mamba: Dating, Meet New People by JSC Mamba had a peak revenue of $49K in late July, with a downward trend towards the end of the quarter. Downloads increased towards September, with a peak of 17.6K. Weekly active users showed a slight increase, ending the quarter at around 251K.
